The Importance of Identifying TMJ disorders for treatment in Wrentham, MA

You may also be able to identify a TMJ disorder through audible clicking of the jaw or grating sensations when you chew or open your mouth. Causes of TMJ

TMJ disorders may occur when:

  • The disk moves out of proper position/alignment
  • Arthritis damages the joint’s cartilage
  • There is damage to the joint due to impact
